The AO Foundation is a medically guided non-profit organization led by an
international group of surgeons specialized in the treatment of trauma and
disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Founded in 1958 by 13 visionary
surgeons, AO today fosters one of the most extensive networks of currently
more than 10,000 surgeons, operating room personnel, and scientists in
over 100 countries.
AO Clinical Investigation and Documentation (AOCID) is a service unit
within the AO Foundation, responsible for the planning, conduct and
analysis of clinical studies at a global level.
We are looking for the following highly motivated person to join our team
in Davos
Project Manager Clinical Data
Key Responsibilities:
Management of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems for the collection of
data from clinical studies
Preparation and validation of databases
Management of Case Report Form (CRF) template databases and coordination
of meetings with all parties involved in order to update these regularly
EDC user administration (user registration, allocation of the users to
studies)
Guarantee consistently high database standards in the areas of cost,
quality and scheduling
Reliable and professional management of clinical study data by identifying
and solving errors and inconsistences between paper and electronic CRFs
Administration of data management plans
Preparation and administration of high quality Data Management Plans
(DMPs)
Coordination of activities described in the DMPs with a specific focus on
expense, quality and scheduling
Preparation and administration of databases for non-clinical purposes
Your profile:
You have successfully completed your training in computing and possess
basic medical knowledge. We require experience in the collection of data
and EDC (Electronic Data Capture System) in the context of clinical
studies. Ideally, you have experience in staff coordination. As a good
communicator in English (German advantageous), you can work independently
yet be at home in a team. You are customer-oriented and you have a flair
for coordination. A structured and organized approach to work and
knowledge of the usual PC applications is expected.
