Job Summary:
Your primary responsibility will be the statistical planning and review of all international clinical phase IV and life-cycle activities for core drug products in late stage development and after registration. This will involve working closely with clinical project physicians in Corporate Medical Affairs.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
* Handling of all statistical methodological issues for newly registered drug projects
* Providing expert statistical advice to clinical project physicians from our Corporate Medical Affairs and Drug Safety departments
* Working in international drug development teams and collaborating with external opinion leaders
* Statistical planning and review of drug development programmes for launch and drug profiling activities including protocol development for major phase IIIb/IV studies
* Statistical planning and review of drug product publication plans, health technology assessments, risk management plans and pharmacovigilance reports
* Planning and performing exploratory analyses of existing study data for publications, reimbursement negotiations, drug defence strategies and further development planning
Essential Skills & Capabilities:
You are expected to have an MSc or PhD degree in statistics or mathematics. You also have a comprehensive working knowledge of biostatistical methodology based on a successful career as a statistician in international clinical drug development for several years.
You have demonstrated your expertise through publications or lecturing as well as through successful collaboration in international working groups.
You will be expected to be self-motivated, a good communicator and team player and enjoy working on challenging scientific projects and studies in an international setting.
