Thanks Simon. I removed the last bullet on more bugs being inevitable from your first version (not helpful in a public discussion) and sent it to NIKHEF and Maarten Litmaath. Jeff Templon was outraged that I wanted to summon the developers to a public meeting to defend bugs only raised the day before. I said that I didn't expect them to respond in the meeting (although several have already been marked solved and verified). The UK has been installing and testing glexec and wants to share the results with others partly so that they don't need to repeat them but also that SGE sites are concerned that if they aren't addressed soon then they will not be able to meet Ian Bird's June deadline. I'd also like an idea of the release implications of bugs only just fixed. If they wait for the UMD release of EMI-1 then they will definitely not meet the June deadline
John
