The final deadline to submit to the 35th Annual Margaret Mead Film & Video
Festival is MAY 9th. We're looking for the best non-fiction out there. The
Mead presents a range of works: international documentary, experimental
films, animation, hybrid works, and more. The Festival takes place November
10th through 13th at the American Museum of Natural History.

Films can be about any subject. The Festival also presents the Margaret Mead
Filmmaker Award (eligible films must present their US Premiere at the Mead.)
This award includes a CASH prize and will be presented at the Festival this
Fall 2011.
The Mead Festival screens films that increase our understanding of the
complexity and diversity of the peoples and cultures that populate our
planet. The Mead maintains its important history and evolves to reflect the
ever-deepening incarnations of storytelling, technology and growing access
to communities near and far.
