Hello everyone,
We would like to let you know about a series of free Librarian TeachMeets in Newcastle, Liverpool and London.
What's a TeachMeet?
------------------
Library TeachMeets are informal gatherings of librarians, designed to allow the sharing of teaching ideas.
TeachMeet is an informal, fun event. There's the chance to meet new people and to hear about and discuss new ideas in a relaxed setting, all over a drink and a bite to eat. Everyone is welcome: whatever sector, whatever job title.
How to take part
----------------
Booking is free and is now open for speakers and attendees - see links below for Registration details.
What happens at TeachMeet?
--------------------------
Volunteers can give five or seven-minute micro-presentations and two-minute nano presentations about their teaching - a great way to share experiences or get advice on a current project. There will also be a chance for all attendees to join in discussions. Presentations can be about anything to do with the teaching you are doing.
The only rules we have is that presentations mustn't be trying to sell us anything, and that they must stick to the time slot!
