As an example of how extraordinarily powerful and important blogging can be, you’d have to go a long way to better this video-illustrated blog from Adam Curtis on liberal interventionism, “Goodies and Baddies”. It has some gaps (looks at Tony Blair but doesn’t mention Sierra Leone, for example) but also provides another fascinating glimpse of the young Qadaffi. Although it’s fairly absent the geopolitical context it provides a profoundly different take on the motivations behind interventions – can’t recommend this highly enough – see particularly the video of Qadaffi making the case for ‘just intervention’!
