Hi Peter,
This sounds like a good, comprehensive spec to start discussions. I'd be interested in seeing the examples from your Oxford OER work.
Thanks,
kate

Dear Kate,
I'd personally like to see if we could investigate further the idea of
storing a list or set of things that someone in a subject finds
useful. i.e. a playlist of OER stored in a public online space that
can be searched against ..
I'm using different terms for it
* playlist - similar to itunes playlist
* learning path
* reading list
* recommended books list - similar to amazon
* shopping trolley
* Does flickr have similar concept of a set of user likes
I've used the collate and push into delicous as way of describing
what I'm after ... but have no idea if this is a goer. I seem to
recall that delicious has an API
a) pick/create a list of things that are useful - the playlist
b) store it somewhere locally ( in Triton we'd want to store in the
WordPress database )
c) push it into a public directory space in the cloud / web
( delicous / other web2 space?)
d) view a list of things that others have ( if you like this
resource others have used it in this playlist )
We might have some code/examples that has elements of step a) for our
Oxford OER work
Peter
has this already been done ? similar concepts elsewhere ?
