Dear NatSCA members,
I am writing you to enquire about the possibility of getting access to a Lophocebus monkey skull to CT scan. My name is Miguel Proa and I am Prof Paul O'Higgins PhD student at the Hull York Medical School, and we are looking for a good, complete Lophocebus albigena and/or Lophocebus aterrimus skull to CT scan. This taxon used to be classified under the genus Cercocebus (Cercopithecidae, Primates). We know the Natural History Museum has some specimens, but we would be very interest to know if there could there be specimens of the said genera in other museums or collections in Britain.
Thank you very much,
Miguel Proa
