I am currently researching a local group of midwives in Wellington, New Zealand
who are part of a multi disciplinary team within a primary health care service.
These midwives are employed and are on a salary by this primary health care
service. The midwives then care for pregnant women who are registered as
patients with this primary health care service using a team approach. The
pregnant women come to know the team looking after them, who provide their
antenatal care, birth their baby's with them and care for them up to six weeks
postnataly. Does anyone know of any midwifery set up in the world that is the
same as this or similar?
