Dear All
I posted a question recently and said I would summarise for the list. I
didn't get many responses, but the main points are as follows:
· Youth Media are the only company that were mentioned to me.
· The methods of advertising seem to mainly widgets and
screensavers. Posters and bookmarks were also mentioned but less so
recently.
· It doesn't make huge amounts of money, but is a largely
hassle free way to gain a little extra income.
· You can get promotional material instead of money.
· You can add your own adverts for services in the library.
· Communication with Youth Media is good.
Many thanks to those that responded,

Dear All
We are considering ways to raise a little extra revenue. I have heard
of a company called Youth Media who have conducted advertising campaigns
for companies that wish to target the student market. I realise they
have advertised in some university libraries using such marketing tools
as mouse mats, posters and bookmarks.
I would be really interested to hear from anyone who has used Youth
Media or any other similar companies. Details of your experience or
simply the names of other companies with whom we could get in touch
would both be much appreciated.
I will summarise any useful information for the list.
Many thanks
