Dear all,
The BUFVC is delighted to announce that Michael Cockerell will present this year's Learning on Screen Awards Ceremony to be held at the National Film Theatre (BFI Southbank), London on 24 March 2011.
With over 40 years experience, Michael Cockerell, has achieved more than any other journalist in illuminating and elucidating the workings of the British political system. Having been a reporter on the flagship current affairs programme, Panorama, he most recently reported on the BBC4 three-part series The Great Offices of State.
The Learning on Screen Conference & Awards 2011 will explore:
- the importance and benefits of using moving image and sound to enhance the learning experience
- finding and using content effectively
- meeting student learning expectations
- how to design successful educational media.
Presentations will include practical guidance, innovative ideas and case studies, including a keynote provided by Tony Ageh the BBC Controller of Archive Development, entitled BBC Archives - The Future in the Past.
