Working together –
How sharing Bibliographical Services, Stock & Systems could work for you
With the pressure on to make savings, improving backroom efficiency while
continuing to improve the customer experience is more pertinent than ever
before. Working with neighbouring authorities is not new, and indeed a
number of library services have been sharing some of their bibliographical
and wider functions for a number of years with great success.
NAG is delighted that several practitioners from successful partnerships and
consortia have agreed to share their experiences with us. Why attend:
* Hear how working with other library authorities is helping drive
value and improved customer service.
* Learn about the different business models in place and evolving
* Ask questions of the experts and take part in the discussion
* Network with other delegates, all facing the same challenges
Confirmed speakers include:
Jennifer Cox - Stock Services Unit Manager, London Borough of Bromley
Carol Gold - Somerset - Manager of Foursite Bibliographical Services
Zoe Albright - SELMS Consortium Business Manager
Janet Wood - Head of Service Stockport Libraries, Advice and Information
The seminar will take place on Wednesday 6th April at Aston University, from
9.45 to 16.00
Full details and directions will be sent out after bookings have been made
The cost is £125 for NAG members, £175 for non-members (a reduction on last
year’s prices!)
