We have electronic submission for MPhil/PhD theses and Masters dissertations over 60% at the University of Chester.
You probably won't be surprised to learn that Masters students don't seem to know or care about 3rd party copyright (even though we tell them about it!) and that MPhil/PhD supervisors tend to be convinced (on what evidence is unclear) that putting the theses into a repository will prevent any further publication in journals or as a book.

A question has recently been raised within my institution about moving to complete electronic submission for all theses. I wondered if any other institution has already done this and what the issues surrounding this were and how they were dealt with.
