I have been told this "Health Check" building block is no longer supported by Blackboard for version 9.0 or 9.1 because it was designed to address issues in version before 9.0. We are disappointed to lose the function of checking validity of URL in course sites.

Thanks for that.
However, rather than a browser checker (such as those http://uogbrowserchecker.glam.ac.uk/ - http://www.ucalgary.ca/cgi-bin/browsertest) what I was after was a checker for URLs within courses/organisations.
The Version 8 one is available at:
http://www.blackboard.com/Partnerships/Extensions/Extension-Details.aspx?ExtensionID=23082
Is anyone aware of something like this? I have seen references to a "Health Check" building block but havent been able to track it down.
Thanks
Ian

We set up our own one with some JavaScript checks:
http://uogbrowserchecker.glam.ac.uk/
We got most of the source from:
http://www.ucalgary.ca/cgi-bin/browsertest
Who were happy to let us mess with it

Subject: Web URL Link Checker for Blackboard
Dear all,
Searching the list archives there were some discussions around this back in 2008, sorry to have to bring it up again.
We used to use the 'Blackboard Link Checker' building block. However, it seems there is no release 9/9.1 version of this available.
Does anyone know of an alternative (currently we are running a hosted Learn 9.1.482.2)?
Thanks
Ian
