Annwyl pawb/ Dear all
Edrychwch ar ein blog newydd ar archifausirddinbych.wordpress.com. Bydd y blog yn cydredeg â’n gwefan arferol, ac yn caniatáu cipolwg i’r cyhoedd ar y ffordd y mae’r gwasanaeth archifau’n gweithio y tu ôl i’r llenni, fel cynnydd gyda chatalogio a newyddion cyffredinol. Ein bwriad yw i’r blog fod yn ardal arddangosfa ar-lein gyda chofnodion â thema’n amlygu’r casgliadau ffantastig a gedwir gan archifau’r sir.
Take a look at our new blog at denbighshirearchives.wordpress.com. The blog will run alongside our usual website and allow the public an insight into the archive service from behind the scenes such as progress on cataloguing and general news. We intend the blog to be an online exhibition area with themed posts highlighting the fantastic collections held by the county’s archive.

'I ddechrau bydd y blog yn canolbwyntio ar ddyddlyfr taith, yn cynnwys ffotograffau cyfoes, yn dilyn siwrnai 250 milltir pobl a ddaeth ar eu gwyliau o Fanceinion a Chaer i ymweld â Gogledd Cymru yn 1890. Mae’r dyddiadur yn rhoi portread o Sir Ddinbych a Gogledd Cymru dros gant ac ugain o flynyddoedd yn ôl a sut bethau oedd gwyliau i rai o bobl oes Fictoria. Mae’r awduron yn ymweld ag ardaloedd sydd yn Sir Ddinbych heddiw ac yn eu disgrifio, fel Llangollen, Corwen a’r Rhyl ynghyd ag ardaloedd eraill yng Ngogledd Cymru fel Eryri, Conwy a Llandudno'
'Initially the blog will focus on a travel journal, with contemporary photographs, following the 250 mile journey of holiday-makers from Manchester and Chester who visited North Wales in 1890. The diary provides a portrait of Denbighshire and North Wales over a hundred and twenty years ago and what holidays may have been like for some Victorians. The writers visit and describe areas in Denbighshire today, such as Llangollen, Corwen and Rhyl together with other areas of North Wales such as Snowdonia, Conwy and Llandudno'
Pob hwyl/Best wishes
