PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The role involves the delivery of epidemiological / pharmacoepidemiological projects within the group for both internal purposes and for external clients. Projects will be undertaken using the GPRD and other database resources from the UK and elsewhere. The role will involve assistance in the development of the various data resources into active research data streams. Line management will be provided by the Head of Research. Additional responsibilities will involved the maintenance of GPRD as a research service provider organisation and may involve collaboration with external clients, client account management and provision of answers to research queries via the GPRD helpdesk.

The MHRA is the government agency which is responsible for ensuring that medicines and medical devices work, and are acceptably safe.
