Haha, just realized that came out sounding unintentionally bitter for some
reason.
I think it's wonderful that poetry is vibrant in Wales & in Welsh, but the
comparison being drawn here is clearly uneven from the start because of the
sheer cultural differences between Welsh culture and "the UK" (which again
is a setup that I felt went unproblemaized in the article). Is the point of
this 3-to-1 figure to boast, and if so, why?
