We (Royal Holloway) are currently using an open source front-end for
Metalib (Xerxes) and are about to start using an open source room
bookings system (OpenRooms). We run Mediawiki for internal library
documentation and as an aid to the Helpdesks. And of course we have
Moodle, though that's not strictly within the library.

The two aren't necessarily exclusive, in fact I think a patchwork
combination may become increasingly common. In our case we have Summon
already (and will probably move away from Metalib as a result) - but we
are intending to use Vufind as an open source integrating front end to
as much of our library software as possible, including Summon.
