EBSCO Events Exploring the Theme of Discovery
Making your library the preferred source of information
EBSCO's Information Days are free to attend, with seminar programmes and
group discussions about making your library collection more visible and
streamlining your management processes to free up staff time and improve
the quality of service for your users.
EBSCO understands the cost of accommodation and travelling too far to
attend important events and are therefore bringing them closer to you -
the 2011 EBSCO Information Days are being held in 6 venues across the UK
on the following dates:
Dublin 2nd March
Manchester 16th March
Edinburgh 22nd March
Bristol 29th March
Birmingham 13th April
London 12th May
These events provide librarians with the ideal environment to develop
strategies, learn new skills and tactics, and network with colleagues
from other institutions as well as catching up with EBSCO
representatives.
Visit www.ebsco.com/opendays for invitations, agendas and registration
for your local event.
This is what some of your colleagues had to say about last year's
Information Days:
'Very informative and interesting; good networking opportunity.'
'The EBSCO team was very friendly, helpful and welcoming, and did a
great job on the day and was able to answer all my questions. A
worthwhile event. Thank you.'
'I really enjoyed the event and the tone was just right - friendly,
professional and yet with plenty of EBSCO staff to handle individual
enquiries. I would like to be kept on the mailing list for next year'.
We hope to see you there!
