I've been providing info from IRs regarding their usage statistics in order
to use this vital information for the promotion of OA in developing
countries. I had assumed there was standard software associated with eprints
and dspace, but that not everyone had implemented it. Here are some stats
links I have used from time to time, but I had to look at each IR to find
the ones that provided the data:
http://strathprints.strath.ac.uk/es/index.php?action=cumulative_usage_country
http://www.saber.ula.ve/stats?level=general&type=access&page=downviews-series&start=01-02-2011&end=10-02-2011&pyear=2011&pmonth=02&anoinicio=2011&anofim=2011&mesinicio=01&mesfim=02
http://eprints.utas.edu.au/awstats/awstats.pl?config=eprints
http://repositorium.sdum.uminho.pt/stats?level=general&type=access&page=downviews-series
Why are all IRs not doing this? As usage data is a hugely important selling
point for any OA waverers, it would be great to have a 'place' where all
this could be found in a standard format. Excuse technical ignorance.

Since many of our repositories use Google Analytics, it would be possible
for each of us to export an agreed set of statistics on a regular basis.
