*Apologies for cross-posting*

Please pass this on to anyone who may be interested. For further information, please see contact details below.

Health Information Specialists and Senior Information Specialists required to work in a team of 'evidologists' based in central London

Full or part time positions considered. Based at Bazian Ltd, 10 Fitzroy Square, London W1T 5HP

Salary for Information Specialist - 27,500 to 32,500 pro rata per annum, dependent on skills and experience

Salary for Senior Information Specialist - 34,000 to 39,000 pro rata per annum, dependent on skills and experience

We are seeking to appoint one or more Health Information Specialists and Senior Information Specialists to work within a team of experienced evidologists. The post-holder will work on the systematic searching, scanning, appraisal and tagging of health research literature for systematic reviews and other evidence-based products, in addition to working with a wide range of stakeholders and supporting the wider work of Bazian. The Senior Information Specialist's role would further include a managerial element.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidates to further their experience and expertise in the real-world application of Evidence-Based Medicine, playing a central role in a strong and highly motivated team who share the common goal of improving health through evidence.

Applicants should have a library or information studies related degree and at least two years post degree experience in a related field. Those applying for the Senior Information Specialist role would have greater experience and ideally have some experience of management. Experience of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential as are excellent communication skills.

You must have the right to live and work in the UK to apply for these positions.

Closing date: 12 noon 3 February 2011
Interviews will be held in mid-February 2011
