Hi everybody.
I didn't realise that the DSA could be used to fund psychotherapy. I work
with a number of students with SpLDs who have severe study anxiety: would
they be able to have psychotherapy or counselling sessions funded for them?
What criteria would a DSA assessor use to recommend psychotherapy or
counselling? In what circumstances do you think that funding bodies would
fund this? What evidence would be necessary? I would appreciate your
opinions.
