At the moment we're on 9.0 and still using the old Learning Objects Campus Pack 'Classic' (3.0.xx) tools, including Expo LX. We've been on the Learning Objects Product Advisory Board this year and I really like what I've seen of Campus Pack 4.4 and I also like where they're heading with the product.
We're currently testing Blackboard 9.1 with a view to upgrading this summer. I'm also in the process of testing an upgrade of the Learning Objects tools to bring us up to 4.x. If we're talking e-portfolio's, from what I've seen I think the Personal Spaces (potential portfolio solution) aspect is a huge improvement over Expo LX, in terms of personalisation, sharing, and portability.
If anyone was able to share any Campus Pack 4 help documentation (aimed at staff or students) or any sort of admin setup notes I'd be very grateful.
Thanks,

We're just about to move to Blackboard 9.1 and currently assessing our situation with regards to Blogs and Wikis. For the time being we are sticking with Learning Objects, since it is not feasible for us to change our blog and wiki tools mid-way through the academic year as they are being used on a number of courses.
However, I'd be interested if anyone has found an alternative to Podcast LX. Does Blackboard 9.1 have anything inbuilt?
Cheers

We upgraded to Bb 9.1 last summer but stuck with Campus Pack because of the Personal Learning Space and its e-portfolio potential, particularly for enhancing PDP across the institution. The Bb based blogs, wikis certainly have a similar functionality but the Bb Portfolio tool is not part of our licence so, given the improvements from Expo LX to the PLS in CP 4.3/4.4, we decided to stay with CP for the time being.

I'd be intrigued to here of anybody who has got BB9.x and has decided to stick with Learning Objects rather than use the inbuilt blogs and wiki's and what it was the influenced that decision?
Have a good weekend all.

Hi Rob,
We launched Expo LX as part of the wider Campus Pack suite in Sept 2009 but have since switched to Campus Pack 4.3/ 4.4. The newer versions have the Personal Learning Space which we use as an e-portfolio and this is a big improvement on Expo LX.

Subject: Expo LX e-Portfolio
Dear Colleagues,
I have had discussions recently with staff from York and UCB regarding the use of the Expo LX e-Portfolio within Learning Objects' Campus Pack, and would be interested in finding out who else is making use of Expo LX.
I have a long list of HEIs using PebblePad, and a shorter (but growing) list of those using Mahara, but very little idea of how much use of Expo LX there is. I'd be really grateful if you'd send me a quick email to confirm whether you're using Expo - I'll send another email once the list has been compiled.
Many thanks,
Rob Farmer
