Course Overview.
Meta analysis is a statistical technique for combining the findings from independent studies. This one day course discusses the main issues related to Meta analysis and demonstrates with Stata 11 a number of alternative techniques designed for this purpose.
The provides a unique mix of practcial and theortical sessions and particpants are encourage to bring in their own data to the course in Excel format. Stata 11 will be used in the practcial sessions.

Statistical models for meta-analysis.

Previous experience with statistical and econometrics analysis and familiarity with Stata basics.
