**Second UK Mplus Users Meeting - Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th March 2011**
The meeting will take place over two days, beginning on the morning of Tuesday 15th March (10.00am-5.00pm) and ending at lunchtime on Wednesday 16th March 2011 (9.00am-1.00pm).
**Purpose of the Meeting**
This meeting is open to ALL researchers currently using Mplus, or planning to use Mplus in the future. Mplus is a flexible statistical package popular with those interested in modelling with latent variables, for example confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modelling and latent growth modelling.
**Topics include:**
. Bayes in Mplus (live video talk by Bengt Muthén)
. Latent trajectory models
. Exploratory structural equation modelling
. Latent class analysis
. Multiple imputation
. Finite mixture models
. Multilevel path models
. Item response modelling
. Interface between Mplus and R

**Registration Fees**
Registration fees will be £50 for academics and free for PhD students.

**Biostatistics Group Seminar on Wednesday 16th March 2011**
In addition to the Mplus Users meeting, the Biostatistics Group at The University of Manchester are holding a half day seminar on Wednesday 16th March 2011, between 14.00 and 17.00. It will feature three 50 minute talks by speakers on "Latent variable modelling". The seminars are free to attend, and will be open to all (Mplus meeting attendees or not).
