In response to yesterday's query about the advert below: Yes, At-Bristol pays for the CRB checks of all its staff, interns and volunteers.

I will suggest that this is stated clearly on any future adverts.

Subject: Sustainability Internships in At-Bristol

The At-Bristol Science Centre is currently advertising internships in the area of sustainability.

At-Bristol has good credentials in sustainability and benefits from cutting-edge low-energy building systems and technologies. We are currently on a drive to improve our sustainability as an organisation even further through a whole range of smaller measures as well as some exciting large scale projects and to ultimately communicate these to the public and engage them with the issues involved.

As part of this mission we are offering internships for people with a knowledge of, and interest in, sustainability in business and/or energy technologies. Our hope is that the internship with be mutually beneficial, with At-Bristol undertaking projects with the latest thinking and practice in sustainability and the intern gaining valuable experience of the issues involved in applying sustainability to a real organisation in a science centre environment. The internship is designed to be flexible to accommodate the intern.

We hope that the internship may be of interest to members of this group or that members may work in institutions where they can pass this advert on to those for whom it is relevant.

Details of the internship projects and how to apply can be found on our website: www.at-bristol.org.uk/volunteer.html#Internships
