Dear Colleagues,
I wanted to briefly introduce myself as I have recently joined this
forum. I am a clinical psychologist with a specialization in
international psychology and trauma currently based in Chicago,
Illinois. My clinical work has focused on providing services to
refugees, asylum seekers, survivors of trafficking, and immigrants
within community mental health and hospital settings. I also serve as a
consultant on international capacity building projects related to mental
health and psychosocial programming that focus on populations affected
by trauma (e.g., gender based violence, civil conflict, natural
disasters). Lastly, I hold a faculty position within the International
Psychology program at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
I very much look forward to the dialogue within this forum and to the
opportunity to share resources and to learn from one another.
