*** CALL FOR PAPERS ***

HKSTS'2011

The 16th International Conference of Hong Kong Society for Transportation
Studies

Hong Kong, 17-20 December, 2011

Jointly organized by
Hong Kong Society for Transportation Studies (HKSTS)
Department of Civil Engineering and Institute of Transport Studies, The
University of Hong Kong

Established in February 1996, the Hong Kong Society for Transportation
Studies (HKSTS) aims to foster excellence in transportation research and
practice, stimulate professional interchange in transportation, and provide
a forum for exchanging ideas on transportation developments. Hong Kong is a
major transportation and logistics hub of the Asia-Pacific region. With the
increasing integration of the economies of the Pearl River Delta and
Southeast Asia, and increasing global market competition, advanced methods
in operations research, management science, economics and statistics are
needed for modeling the dynamics of complex large-scale multimodal
transportation systems. Practitioners and academics are cordially invited to
share their knowledge, experience and insights on the design, analysis,
planning, operation, engineering, co-ordination and management of
transportation systems and their impacts. The technical program may include
plenary sessions, paper presentations and poster sessions. Please visit the
conference website for more details at:
http://home.netvigator.com/~hksts/conf.htm.

Abstracts (300-500 words) must be received not later than 15 April 2011.
Authors are invited to submit abstracts to:

Dr. W.Y. Szeto
Chair of the 16th HKSTS International Conference
Department of Civil Engineering
The University of Hong Kong
Pokfulam Road, Hong Kong
Fax: (852) 2559-5337
E-mail: [log in to unmask]

Please kindly help circulate this Call for Papers to your colleagues whom
may be interested and we look forward to seeing you at the conference.

Yours sincerely,

Tony Sze
Secretary
The 16th HKSTS International Conference

[Apologies if you receive this announcement more than once!]
