Perhaps the sitemap actual link bridge is the problem - i.e google tries to ignore SEO'ed urls?

Subject: Re: Possible problem with Google algorithm change affecting OER sites
Well its true that we use Moodle and its URLs are not very friendly. However, we have written a "friendly url" redirect programme which translates SEO optimised urls (which we load to Google in our sitemap) into Moodle URLs.
And that hasn't changed over the last few months.
Traffic in general to the site looks fine - its just the traffic coming from Google which is dropping.
I've asked a contact I have there to look into it for us, but so far we have no flashes of inspiration.
Are other #ukoer sites seeing similar issues, or is it just us?
