In a previous post, I referred to the development of independent learning activities for students at Worcester College of Technology. One of the issues with their development concerns the use of audio during a session, whether in a type of Flash object, YouTube, etc.
Many students today have their own earphones, so that such content can be viewed without disruption to other students. However, there are many more students who don't have access to earphones, and I believe that we as a college should be able to supply free, disposable earphones, that would be perfectly adequate for such sessions.
However, money is tight (an understatement!), so I am looking for suggestions as to how we can provide earphones to all who use audio in their lessons. I have thought about a type of sponsorship deal perhaps, or purchasing a bulk supply of earphones, in the college colours, for marketing purposes, but really need other suggestions and ideas.
Also, to any of you who have taken a look at my report, I will get back to you very soon! Thanks!
