The Early Career Conference Awards (ECCAs) 2011 offer four opportunities for current European library and information science students and new professionals (those who have been working in the field for less than five years) to attend the 2011 SLA Conference. The lucky four will each benefit from an expenses-paid trip to the SLA Conference, to be held in Philadelphia, 12-15 June 2011. Closing date for applications is 31/1/11.

Information Professional award
Nominations are now being accepted for the SLA Europe Information Professional Award for 2011. This award recognises outstanding information professionals working in Europe. The winner will receive an expenses-paid trip to the SLA Conference in Philadelphia, 12-15 June 2011. As well as the trip to the Conference, the winner will be invited to support SLA Europe's activities, including speaking at events, and contributing to the blog and podcasts. Closing date for nominations is 28/2/11.
