Hi Shauna,
I'd be really grateful if you could let me know what people send you.
We have a Youth Forum whose numbers have dwindled. We have three
committed young people who turn up every fortnight. The really
important thing is having projects for them to really get their teeth
into so that you keep them once you have recruited. Initially we went
to other local youth groups and worked with the youth service to
recruit.
Good luck

Subject: Youth Advisory Group Recruitment
Hello GEMmers,
I am recruiting for the National Maritime Museum's Youth Advisory Group
and thought a 'taster' day would be the best move, for young people to
come to something specific and have a go to see if it's what they'd like
to do.
I have found a couple of ideas for activities (Museum human bingo, the
world's worst museum/youth forum etc. from the toolkit of ideas for
setting up a youth forum) but am wondering if anyone has tried similar
recruitment days and top activities/games that worked!
Many Thanks,
Shauna O'Brien
