This is a fantastic opportunity for a numerate Graduate Analyst and Analyst to join a well known retailer based in the North West.
Principal Accountabilities:
• To produce all management information accurately and in a timely manner and to be able to develop reports, suggest improvements and identify discrepancies where necessary.
• Production of analysis resulting in clear recommendations and justification for these decisions.
• Work as part of a team on business projects requiring statistical input.
• Continue to develop knowledge of SQL and the database.
• Be aware of all new developments and their implications within the team along with maintaining data integrity.
• Demand Forecasting.
• Developing / testing initiatives to improve business key performance indicators, e.g. profit / response.
This role requires a person who can think on their feet with the ability to come up with new methods of analysing data.
Experience Required:
• Maths/stats degree is desirable; a passion for numerical challenges is essential.
• In order to be successful in this role you will need to be numerate with excellent analytical skills.
• Knowledge of SQL / Business Objects / SAS programmes would be an advantage.
• You will be ambitious and have the ability to work on your own initiative to identify and improve current processes.
