Thanks, that seems to do it nicely. It appears to just make
maui treat the nodes as if they had that many times they're
real memory, so even things like 'checknode' report them
as having more than they really do.
I've actually set ours to 1.8 on the basis that I want the
memory limits safely out of the way without the risk of
rounding errors or the like getting involved. That doesn't
cause it to run too many jobs on the node since it's still
limited by one job per core.
So far, this looks ideal.
