Health and the media
Media Futures Research Centre, Bath Spa University
Friday 22nd July 2011
CALL FOR PAPERS
From news coverage of swine flu and MMR to the worldwide success of popular fiction such as House and ER, dynamic relationships between the media and health pose significant questions around citizenship, personal and social narratives of well-being, the body, and public understandings of health and disease. We welcome papers presenting work-in-progress, published studies or preliminary research from scholars working in any related disciplines.
