This email is to say that there's a 3-year research post available through
our Horizon Digital Economy Research Hub to research methods for indoor
positioning. More details are available from the Nottingham vacancies pages:
  http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/jobs/currentvacancies/ref/SCI927
but in extract:

Applications are encouraged from candidates with expertise in one or more of
the following areas: indoor localisation; sensor technology; sensor
integration; data fusion; Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS);
Inertial Navigation Systems (INS); other positioning technologies;
development on different platforms such as mobile devices.

Candidates should have a PhD (or be close to completion) or equivalent in a
geospatial research topic (such as GNSS or INS) or an MSc in a geographical
subject plus significant relevant research experience within academia,
industry or Government. They must be keen to bring their skills and
experience into the interdisciplinary team addressing the overall
socio-technical challenges of the future Digital Economy. Good computing
skills, knowledge of sensor integration, and an interest in mobile systems
are desirable.

IESSG and CGS are co-investigators in Horizon and this post is part of the
geospatial research programme in Horizon.

Would you mind please passing on these details to anyone you know of who's
