NADP ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2011 - CALL FOR PAPERS
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS WEDNESDAY 19TH JANUARY
The NADP Annual conference 2011 will take place on Monday 27th and
Tuesday 28th June 2011 at Chesford Grange, Warwickshire.
The Conference Planning Group invites proposals for workshops and
keynote presentations which cover aspects of the Equality Act 2010.
The Equality Act is a key piece of legislation against a background of
economic challenge. It replaces the existing DDA, SENDA and other
equality legislation that we have become familiar with for many years.
Where does disability feature amongst the Equality Act's protected
characteristics?
* Will the emphasis on disability diminish?
* How are Institutions reacting to the Equality Act?
* What impact has the Equality Act had on the way we support
students?
* What opportunities does the Equality Act create?
* How do other protected characteristics overlap with
disability?

Proposals should be submitted to the NADP Administration Office by 19th
