National University, Canberra, Australia, January 10-14, 2011.
3. Factor Analysis & Structural Equation
Modelling: An Introduction Using Stata and Mplus,
London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, 16-18 February 2011
The course will discuss the current state of the
art with respect to factor analysis and
structural equation modelling, while retaining a
practical focus. The course is taught by George
Ploubidis and Bianca De Stavola. Guest lecturer: Tim Croudace, Cambridge
4. Combining Categorical and Continuous Latent
Variable Modeling with Mplus, Dortmund, Germany, February 21-25, 2011
The spring school is organized by the Institute
for School Development Research at TU Dortmund
(Germany) and the Department for Education at
University of Gothenburg (Sweden). It is
delivered by leading researchers from Harvard
University, Dortmund University and University of
Gothenburg. It is aimed at doctoral students and
postdoctoral fellows. The registration fee of €
100 includes full tuition and accommodation.
5. Mplus User meeting, Utrecht University, the Netherlands, March 14, 2011
A meeting of the 'Mplus user's group: Exploring
the boundaries of Mplus' will take place at
Utrecht University. The meeting precedes the 8th
International Amsterdam Multilevel conference (March 16-18).
6. Mplus User's Meeting, Manchester, United Kingdom, March 15-16, 2011
This meeting is open to all researchers currently
using Mplus. In addition to the Mplus meeting,
the Biostatistics Group at The University of
Manchester is holding a half day seminar series
on Wednesday 16th March 2011, between 14.00 and
17.00. It will feature three 50 minute talks by
invited speakers on methodological topics linked with the Mplus users meeting.
7. Mplus Short Courses, Johns Hopkins University, March 24-25, 2011
Two Mplus Short Courses will be given at the
Johns Hopkins University, March 24-25, 2011. They
cover cross-sectional and longitudinal multilevel
analysis using Mplus. The courses are taught by
Bengt and Linda Muthen and correspond to Topics 7
and 8 in the Mplus course sequence.
8. Mplus Short Course, University of Connecticut, May 24, 2011
