EVERY THING KUITCA
echoes. Some biographical echoes, but not upfront.
Very tragic happens when you moisturize that paper,
echo those accidents,
recordings away.
You can do anything in painting.
Take what I think I can
have in the studio--a circular table.
Idea in these tables--give a second life to that work.
No, I want to make that connection
going home. Exactly.
Know what else to do?
Use sometimes acrylic or sometimes oil--is there a reason for that?
It’s always related to something I do on top of the background.
Technical reason
couldn’t stop me.
A sense of achievement in the day.

Initially drafted during a staged live interview with the Argentine artist Guillermo Kuitca on the opening day of his mid-career museum retrospective, entitled "Everything". At the same time I attempted an acrostic sixteener, I also worked intuitively on another work, which I'll now try to shape and edit.
