E-Learning Training Assistant, University of York, £22,879 (pro rata)
A short-term vacancy has arisen within the University’s E-Learning Development Team for the position of E-Learning Training Assistant. This post is available up to 31 May 2011, offering an opportunity for personal development in acquiring skills and experience in delivering learning technology training and support services to staff across the University. You will work as part of a central e-learning team including learning technologists, library and systems specialists, which is dedicated to promoting technology-enhanced learning across the curriculum.
You will contribute to preparations for the summer upgrade of the University’s VLE platform to Blackboard v.9.1, reviewing guidance documentation and training resources for the new version and testing new tools. You will also provide end-user support to staff and students and assist with evaluation, dissemination & administrative tasks.
