Hi all, hi Brunella
I certainly haven't heard that anyone's been offended. What I've done is
to ask Jiscmail helpdesk whether posting on one's possible availability
as employee or project manager and the way one would carry out an
assignment might inadvertently contravene para 4 of Jiscmail's
Acceptable Use Policy "Posting Promotional Messages". I hope the answer
I get (helpdesk try to respond within 3 working days), will provide
members with some input into choosing whether they wish to explore
Brunella's interesting idea about exchanging information about career
options, vacancies, jobs, work assignments , and if so how that could be
done, and what JISCmails' rules might be. I have said to Brunella that I
will show her the helpdesk answer when it arrives.
In my post headed "Tip: Check the "To List" box when replying" I said
"If you want your reply to go to the list rather than to the poster..."
- I didn't mean to imply that all answers had to go to the list - sorry
for any misunderstanding. The "to list" box exists in the reply template
which you get if you are reading the posts from the IntranetsForum home
page facility
https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A0=UKEIG-INTRANETS-FORUM.
Early days - I expect all will become clearer as we explore the Forum
facilities!
Very best wishes
Dion
