In a few days the third round of the advanced masters program in
MediaArtHistories at the Department for Image Science at Danube
University will start for the 3rd time with the founding module on Media
Art Histories & Media Archeology. 

With lectures and presentations from scholars Erkki HUHTAMO, Sarah
COOK, & Oliver GRAU, practitioners and founders in the field 
Jeffrey SHAW and Frank den OUDSTEN will be followed by the newest
additions Trebor SCHOLZ and Nina WENHART. This module's excursion will
take the students to ZKM, where they can experience the institution
behind the scenes with scholar Margit ROSEN, the Laboratory for Antique
Video Systems with Christoph BLASE, The RobotLab with Matthias GOMMEL &
Performance/Installations with Chris ZIEGLER. Starting with a strong
theory & practice module and finishing with one of the most significant
institutions in the field rounds out Nov 2010.
