Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Journalism and News Media (0.4 FTE) Fixed term for 5 months (3 January 2011 to 31 May 2010) – Ref: HR135/10
Salary: £36,020 - £47,240 (pro-rata) pa inc

The Journalism and News Media programme, within the Department of Media, Culture and Language, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for a five month fixed-term lectureship to complement the well-established Journalism and News Media team, effective from 3rd January 2011. This is to cover the teaching of a member of the permanent Journalism and News Media team, who will be on research leave. The successful candidate will have practical expertise and the ability to teach across all years of the undergraduate Journalism and News Media programme in the theory and practice of journalism, especially feature writing and, preferably, web and multimedia journalism.
