Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone else has recently renewed a subscription to
i-law?
In the past we have had access via their Enterprise Licence, allowing
multiple concurrent users, at a price discounted for the academic
sector. This year, they have decided not to offer this discount to
universities, so we are facing a 27% price increase for only two
concurrent users - which we don't anticipate being enough.
I've discussed this with them on the phone, and their implication was
that they aren't viewing universities as their main customer base for
this product, so didn't feel the need to offer a decent price.
So, I wondered what other universities thought about this. Do you think
it would be worth collaborating in some way to encourage them to reverse
their decision?
Kind regards
James
