About the role:
The Department of English, Communication, Film and Media is seeking to appoint a one-year fixed term full time Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Film Studies.
You will have a higher degree or professional qualification in a relevant discipline at postgraduate level and a completed (or near-completed) PhD, UK experience of teaching in HE, and a strong or developing profile of research and publication. You will also be a specialist in one of the following areas: international film; classical and contemporary Hollywood cinema; film theory. Within the Department, which has an excellent record in both research and teaching, you will lead and teach undergraduate and postgraduate modules and undertake administrative duties as appropriate.
It is anticipated that interviews will be held on Friday 7 January 2011.
