CHA procedure for application and nomination

The IFCS (International Federation of Classification Societies) provides awards to single persons in the framework of its Chikio Hayashi Awards Program (CHA).
Awards are given to promising researchers who will present a paper on classification, data analysis and related areas at the IFCS 2011 conference (http://www.classification-society.org/ifcs/ifcsconf.html),
and who are in the early stages of their professional careers, as a support for attending the IFCS conference.
Candidates shall be under the age of 35 years at the time of the conference. The award is a cash payment to a candidate who attends the IFCS conference and may be used for travel, accommodation, and conference costs.
March 30th, 2011:
Candidates must have submitted their CHA application to the chair of the Awards Committee (Dr. Gilles Celeux).
