Dear Allstat,
A hugely successful media agency is in need of an Econometrician with Data Management skills!
Working for a hugely successful media agency, with the need for a Data Manager / Econometrician, this role is both immensely challenging and yet equally as rewarding. Looking for a unique and highly able data expert with equally strong attributes in econometric analysis, this role entails the best of both worlds – data management and econometrics. In search of the right candidate for the job, if you have a passion for data and analysis then this is the role for you. In return significant training and support will be given to ensure personal and professional growth, as well as structured career prospects and a generous remuneration package, as well as the chance to work amongst a dynamic set of like minded data enthusiasts.
The candidate will be responsible for:
• The design and population of a pre-existing web based dashboard for one of the company’s most prominent clients. You will develop the architecture after liaising with the client and account management teams, defining the data feeds, developing a project plan, managing the data collection, creating the database and finally uploading it to the dashboard.
• Equally the candidate will work across all aspects of a market mix econometric project, from the initial design and set up of the project, to data collection, modelling and then the presentation of findings to the client accompanied by world class recommendations
Initially the role will concentrate on the delivery of the dashboard, but once this is near completion, the role will involve increasing amounts of econometric analysis.
In return you will bring:
• A number of years work experience using time series econometrics, preferably in the media or marketing industry
• Experience of handling large data sets and working with databases
• A strong knowledge of Excel, and common econometrics packages such as EViews
• Notable data management skills, preferably using SAS or SQL server
• And strong programming skills, ideally in SAS, SQL or VBA
Early action is advised. Preferably call or send your CV to be considered.
