The successful applicants would join a Statistics Group currently involved with over 40 projects at various stages ranging from initial design and protocol through to final analysis and publication. They will also be expected to assist in the development of new research ideas and statistical methodology applicable to health services research problems. Their role will also involve providing advice on research methodology and basic statistics to non-statistical colleagues and a limited amount of teaching in medical statistics.
Applicants should have a postgraduate degree in statistics. Applicants should be motivated, well organised, able to work effectively as part of a team and have excellent communication skills.
