University of Colorado Denver: Postdoctoral Fellowship in fMRI of Ingestive Behavior
Marc Cornier (Endocrinology) and Jason Tregellas (Psychiatry) at the University of Colorado Denver Brain Imaging Center are looking for a fulltime postdoctoral researcher to assist with a number of exciting projects examining different interventions and phenotypes related to the neuronal response to food cues. The position will be funded from an NIH R01 examining the effects of different weight loss maintenance strategies, including bariatric surgery and exercise, on neuronal activity.
Experience with fMRI experimental design and data analysis is preferred. Applicants also should have an interest in ingestive behavior, but prior research experience in this area is not required. Applicants should be willing to commit to a minimum two year appointment. The fellow will contribute to ongoing experiments and pursue self-directed projects within the group’s area of investigation, with ample authorship opportunities.
He or she will be an active participant in both Drs Tregellas’ and Cornier’s research groups, collaborating closely with both faculty. More information on the Brain Imaging Center can be found at: http://medschool.ucdenver.edu/psychiatry/brainimaging.
