If you are interested in free online image editors, JISC Digital Media has
recently published some advice on these which includes a comparison table
of the features provided by a dozen of the more popular sites, including
Picnik. As Jon mentions, there are some disadvantages with online editors,
and our advice doc highlights some of the other issues to be aware of:
